Time after time our meals have been excellent from silver city. Take out is a great option on valentine's day. Thank you!!! We'll be back!!!

I get it, Xmas Eve is very busy. So I ordered 4 days in advance and asked for an early afternoon arrival time (to miss dinner rush), and yet they could not find my order, despite the email confirmation.
Then the advertised cash discount? Nope.. "since we ordered on a different system" (their website), they wouldn't honor it. Yet the amount with the set healthy tip to pay by credit card was still requested, not even the advertised credit card discount with pick up was honored.
Order came 20mins late from the kitchen, (likely made on the spot upon our arrival). Wouldn't give us a receipt when asked.
Food was ok, beef was very very salty. Soup was rather flavorless. Apparently they are under new mgmt, maybe they still need time to work on their business model. I likely won't go back.

I had a wonderful experience at Silver City Restaurant! The food was delicious, fresh, and full of authentic flavour. The portions were generous, and everything came out hot. The staff were very friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. The atmosphere is simple but comfortable, perfect for a casual meal with family or friends.
Some of my favourites were the crispy wontons, stir-fried, and their BBQ dishes — all super tasty. Prices are reasonable for the quality and portion size as well. It is a great place for comforting Chinese food in Calgary. Highly recommended, and I’ll definitely be coming back!

We stopped in last night for the first time at Silver city. The ginger chicken was the absolute best we’ve ever had! It was so tender, juicy and flavourful well still being crispy. We also had the beef and vegetables which was also very tender and flavorful. The staff was very attentive friendly and we appreciate their fabulous service.I think this will be our new go to when we’re in the mood for Chinese food. We would highly recommend this restaurant to our friends.

First time trying the restaurant with the new management. Everyone noticed that the ginger beef was so tender. We also enjoyed chicken fried rice, chow mein, bbq pork with mixed vegetables, sweet & sour pork, and chicken balls. We will order from here again.
